This picture is a 100 year old Stereoscope card signed and dated on the back by my great grandmother. The inscription reads:

NO 301 - UNITED STATES MINT - The United States Mint where so much of our gold is coined. This building was saved from fire only after a valiant fight by the fire department and was for weeks guarded by United States troops.
